Sinja is important part of Zagora County, the part of centre Dalmacie. It is located on crossroad of transportation road in the land; the most important connect one of them with Split. The chief occupations are farming, animal production and industry. Sinj and the surrounding are attractive for tourists. The famous place is Sinjska Alka, the show, which is each year and is celebrating the victory over the turkey army in the year 1715. Above the town is the castle Kamicak, which was built in the beginning of 18th century.
